A protagonist raiding an empty building? That's a first for Madness (at least from what I've seen). Pretty clever to have Deimos' enemies hide underground while he explores the base. I just wish we could've seen what happened after he pressed that button at the end. Pretty good animation overall and props for originality.

My main concern is how (as others have said) the movement here is too fast. Not sure if you used an overly high frame rate (I generally recommend 30 FPS) or used too little frames for motions, but something needs to be slowed down. I did however like the way Sanford revives Hank and how they both are shown in hell with Deimos after that big explosion. Does that middle finger from Hank mean there perhaps will be some sort of conflict with him?

Dumbellz2 responds:

It was a project i started in like 2017 and i was shit at animating then so I just went with the shit animating quality. I'm working on another animation which is much better than this in terms of how "smooth" it is and it doesn't go really fast. Also that middle finger ment as a "fuck you deimos" after he went like "ayy u guys died lol" I just didn't really put in dialouge cuz i wanted to get over with the animation once and for all so I can start on something better.

Decently animated, but it would've helped to know how Deimos came out of that computer screen and what he was trying to do when he entered the first room. Was his goal to kill everybody in the building or did he perhaps have a specific target? The biggest issue I have is that he just abruptly dies at the end for no discernible reason. You don't show him getting shot, stabbed, dropped from a large height, or anyone smashing him into the ground. That just looks lazy. I've seen much worse but this definitely wasn't as good as it could've been.

XIESTORIO responds:

Deimos knows about computers and their teleportations. His goal is to find Sandford and Hank. in SCAR.fla, Deimos looked at what teams were on the computer to find out what was happening to them, whether they live or not.
And with his death, I made it specially.
After all, the universe on which Deimos is now. Very mysterious. And in another part it will be clear for what reason he was killed. But I admit that I did not animate Death of Deimos.

This was a fun blast of nostalgia! I have so many cherished memories of watching the kanamomashouse creations. Glad to see you've returned to animation, and I had a good laugh while watching. Sumo and his allies should never be underestimated.

When fighting the house, though, we should've seen him take more damage or at least have more of a struggle defeating him as the house is supposed to be the universe's god. Maybe he could get so wounded that he has to step away for a while and recover while someone else fights the house and then sumo returns after healing enough. Still liked this overall and enjoyed that twist at the ending. Hope to see more creations like this in the future!!

It was fun to make man!!

Pretty solid animation. I liked that plot twist at the end. However, Kelzad's character should've easily won with his electricity sword-like weapons, and I'm surprised those weren't even shown. It also would've been nice to see how Gabriel Barsch would've done after drinking some coffee before going into the fight.

Kenamy responds:

i did mentionned it in my first reply, This is supposed to be a fair fight, besides if they had their weapons, Djjaner could also have his guns, the outcome do not change that way.

Very nice entry Kelzad! It's nice to see distinct teams of agents gang up on one another. I also liked (what at least appears to be) armor for your own custom character featured in the REALM series. Full of action, and definitely something I'm sure Krinkels would be proud of!! Only 1 phase out of 1073 complete? Those guys will be busy for quite some time.....

Kelzad responds:

Hahah, yeah. The “parts” was a way to put some perspective on how much work there was left to be done, for the ATPs.
Thanks for the review!

Sorry, but this wasn't all that good. The character artwork was obviously drawn manually (with subpar results), the walking seemed off (bodies and heads should go up and down when feet move), bodies sometimes seem to distort themselves in weird ways when characters rotated, enemies sometimes fell down to the ground too fast after dying, and how can someone possibly grab a speeding fired bullet without hurting themselves? However, one thing I will commend you for is the typing hands when one character was exchanging messages with someone else. That part was animated pretty well. I've definitely seen worse, but sadly can't give this a high ranking. I strongly recommend you watch some madness tutorials on YouTube and practice some more for future creations.

SchillingStudios responds:

Hi Crazy Monkey. Thank you for reaching out and giving some feedback. I am honestly surprised you found this animation, I thought that It has been dead since 2015. I can understand your disdain towards the art style. I personally believe that this movie did use to look better, but the speed of the animation changed when SWF files turned into MP4 files, and at the time this change occurred, I already moved on with life and stopped really caring about my cartoons.

I would like to counter argue the thing about catching the bullet and having the main character be unfazed. Madness combat at least, in my opinion, has never been about realism, and so for that reason, I came up with an over the top ridiculous way for the protagonist to kill one of the cannon fodder l33t agents.

Overall, I agree with your assessment to be honest. Back in the day, I felt like I was God after finishing this animation. I was put in place after not watching this for 2 years by attempting to show off my "mad art skills" to this girl I was flirting with. After seeing how bad this cartoon was, I was shaken, cheeks red, and embarrassed. While I did put a lot of effort into this cartoon, If I ever get involved in cartoon creation again, I will be sure that my next animation is much more polished.

Thanks again for your informative review!

Well done everybody! Nice to see that the Madness Day entries are starting nicely this year (even if this was posted a day early). I especially liked the humor from Spaderz (that Makemebad35 audio clip on "cocks and dicks" is an amazing throwback) and Gabriel Barsch (farting in a guy's face before getting thrown off a roof). Keep up the blood!!

Spaderz responds:

Lmao yeah

That ending gave me a good laugh. He just wanted a Hank poster after all. Nice animation, and Merry Christmas!

juanford66 responds:

Tecnically was a hank body pillow, but thanks anyway ^^

Nice work bro. I got a good chuckle out of some clips while others (like the shadow effect tests) were ultra sexy. Keep up the humor and the bad-assery!
